So there's a big risk of me just posting every Sifl and Olly video I find so I'll restrain myself to these two, final, videos because they are so funny and represent my entire life up until this moment. Mostly. Well, the sock puppet parts of it. Ok whateva

I'll just come straight out and say it; do not click this link:
Thanks to Dice its the most mindless fun I've had in a while, but really, do not click this link:
I know its tempting...what is there to lose right? And if you score high (on normal level or above) you can enter "Six Apart" as the group name for a little friendly scoreboard competition. Seriously though, avoid this by not clicking this link:
Stop. I know what you're thinking; "Surely I can just take a peek? Surely I can beat Garth's stratospheric score?" This is false hope and the first step to regaining perspective is to not click this link:
Ok, the gears are turning, and your formulating plans in your head, but how could you even know not having clicked this link? What could this link hold of value for you? I beg you to please reconsider the clicking of this link and possibly find other underlined words on which to depress your mouse! I would be heartbroken and sick with moral doubt and glee if I knew I had been some how responsible for you clicking this link:
I can see that my words have fallen on deaf ears. It is obvious to me that as soon as you leave this blog entry (most likely via this link) you are going to head straight for this link. So be it. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I was at Good Life Grocery this weekend and I couldn't stop looking at the grapes they had next to the cash register; they looked like one of those dark, rich still life oil paintings of fruit. I felt a little ridiculous, but I had to take a picture:

Just got this from a friend:
The press release says something vague about "renal failure" attributed to new ingredients that they've since stopped using. I'm pretty sure you can't live too long without your kidneys, so if you have a dog or cat you love, please check out the list of products affected.

What was your favorite game to play at recess in grade school?
Submitted by Elisheva Chana.
Thinking about this I realized that my school had a different idea about dodgeball than some of the other posts. When we played "dodgeball" it meant that everyone would line up against a wall, and one person would whip the ball as hard as they could at everyone. If you got hit, you were out. If you caught it, you got to be the one to inflict red rubber pain on your classmates.
We also played something we called 'endzone' which is basically what everyone else calls dodgeball. I'm not sure if its standard or not, but when you got hit in endzone you got to hang around outside the opponents area and if you caught a rebounding ball, you could still throw it at your opponents.
We also played a lot of kickball. Everyone had their own preference for how the ball should be rolled (slow and a little bouncy) and for some reason the opposing team always complied. We saved football and baseball and basket ball for after school at the park or at our houses because it seems like all our school had were red rubber balls and jump ropes.

I thought I'd post a few pictures from an outing to Silverman gallery from last night. Silverman is a gallery near our apartment and we figured with all the new DogPatch neighbors (represent!) we'd invite them all over to check it out. We had Frank, Heather, Yann, Caroline, Sekimura, Mayuko, and from out of neighborhood, Beau, Gladys and Chris.
We had a great dinner at Pacino on 22nd and Tennessee. Its a tiny place that just opened about 2 months ago and has just started serving food (they began and continue with the ever amazing Blue Bottle coffee in the mornings). Everyone ordered the pizza's they have there and most got the asparagus pizza with 2 fried eggs on top...yum! I can't pass over anchovies, so I got the anchovy and olive pizza which was delicious.
Afterward we walked two blocks to 3rd and 20th where the Silverman gallery is. Its a small space and it had a lot of mixed media installation art; manequin torsos with designer jeans and skater sneakers, words painted on the walls, found objects and paper machete. We only had a few minutes to look at the art before the live performance started. I thought this would be some kind of modern interpretive dance, but it turned out to be a band from Quebec, Canada. I guess you could say there was still interpretive dance because she was literally bouncing off the walls. She seriously danced on all four surfaces of the room. The music was keyboards and drums with disco beats to which she screamed lyrics while wrapping the mic around her head.
Unfortunately the gallery was too dark and she was moving too fast to get any good pictures. I did get a few good pictures of some of the fine folks that agreed to come try out a tiny unknown gallery. Thanks to everyone; lets do it again sometime!
