I was going through some photos from my last trip to the SAKK office and I found a few I had not posted and forgotten about. The office is in a very dense and busy part of Tokyo called Akasaka. There are huge new glass and steel buildings going up everywhere and bright yellow cranes hang from the sky in every direction. However, on my way back from lunch one day I noticed a small wooden building in the middle of all of it:
It seemed like these cats living in this old building would make a good start for childrens book. The last time I was in Osaka, I made a book for my neice (reproduced online here) using a cat puppet and a panda puppet. Maybe I can collect more pictures of Tokyo cats and make a Tokyo book!
[this is good] you did a great job on that book - that's super cool!

That was the cutest book evah!
May I suggest utilizing the cat paw for the next book installation? Perhaps an honorable mention or a cameo of the cat paw?

Oh, thanks! Sometimes I've tried to take their picture but I couldn't because of my poor cell phone camera (it can't work for distant view). Good shots.

Thanks Jon! I worked really hard on it; hopefully it has held up to toddler abuse.

I'll use the cat paw for special effects!

Thanks! Maybe you and Shigeta-san can keep an eye on them for me and let me know if any new kittens appear!
