I just bought a new lens for my camera today. I'd been looking for a macro lens and after looking at prices and reviews I decided to get the Sigma 70mm F2.8 macro. This lets me take really close up photos as well as portraits (it fuzzes the background nicely).
I haven't had much time to play with it, but I took a few shots in the park near the SAKK office. Here's a shot of a statue I took with my old lens next to the same statue with the new lens:
They're different angles and different times of day but you can see how the new lens is able to blur the background a bit more and bring attention to the subject. Here's another shot showing this effect:
This is really more due to this lens going to F2.8 than it being a macro, but it shows that it does well as a portrait lens. Here's a shot at nearly 1:1 of a flower:
Finally, here's a shot that doesn't really display anything specific to my new lens, but it was one of the first shots I took with it and I think its pretty nice:

That is a great picture of the bonsai looking tree. The background almost looks like a minature model :)

Nice fuzz on bonsai pitures. The word "Bokeh" is common in english ?

No, I've never heard it before! Maybe real photographers are more familiar with it ;). Its definitely a nice effect.
