Meal #8
Well, its not exactly Chez Pani, but its her meal ticket. With the rush of packing up both of our apartments in preparation for our move on April 22nd, we've been having a lot of quick food. Tonight is no exception as we sifted through my stack of delivery menus, looking for what might be our last order from these fine establishments.
We settled on Cordoba Pizza (798 Eddy St, 415-921-1942) and called them up for their special seafood pizza. Apparently I don't order from Cordoba very much because they told me my they haven't had that particular pizza on the menu for 5 years (I'm pretty sure the menu is about 7 years old). However they told us that they would make us a similar pizza.
So we ordered a medium special seafood 'alternate' pizza which came in a snappy 30 minutes. Our exchange pizza had shrimp, cilantro and chives over a layer of cheese and cream sauce that hugged the medium thin crust (unlike some pizzas who's cheese floats around and falls off). With a sprinkling of grated parmesan, it was like a full Italian dinner in pizza form.
Unfortunately, we ate this pizza too fast to take any pictures! Once rejuvenated, we returned to the work at hand putting things into boxes and occasionally becoming distracted by bits of memorabilia we thought we threw away years ago.
